Yarns We Carry
NEW YARNS

Several new yarns have come in recently. We now carry Schaeffer Yarns-
http://www.schaeferyarn.com/annesample.htm  The colors are wonderful-each yarn has
two or three colorways in each skein.
Schaeffer Yarns  Anne is 1093 luscious yards of
pure cultivated silk.  "Little Mermaid" is spring on a skein.  Hot pink to coral to purple,
aqua. Kermie is the colors of the ocean: greens and blues of every hue. "Indira Gandhi"
is rich copper, mauve, brown blue-green and plum.

Nancy ( http://www.schaeferyarn.com/nancysample.htm ) 600 yards of merino wool and
nylon.   "Renata Tebaldi" which is deep plum, rose, burgundy and beige to brown
"Mr. Funny", vibrant purple to royal blue, teal to dark green or "Toni Morrison", has
greys and black to copper and tan.

We have also added
Jean Nee from Plymouth, a silky soft cotton yarn that comes in a
sophisticated palate.

Boku, also from Plymouth, is a great felting yarn that has Noro-esque qualities.  It knits
at 4 stitches to the inch on 7 needles, 99 yards per skein.

In response to popular demand we have added Regia
Marokke Color.  It  is a self-
striping sock yarn that knits at 5.5 st/inch.

Tonalita is now fully stocked with a new color of pale peach, beige, grey and green.

NEW BOOKS

"Victorian Lace Today" is a fantastic book for anyone who has considered knitting lace.
The patterns range from simple to complex, but all are beautiful.  Try knitting one of the
patterns in
Anne from Schaeffer or Helen's Lace from Lorna's Lace.

"Never Knit Your Man a Sweater *unless you've got the ring!" has man-size socks,
gloves, hats and sweaters.  It has  very detailed instructions, making it a good choice for
trying a new technique.

"Never Too Old to Knit" doesn't have the most appealing title(after all, who wants to
admit the "old" part?) but it does have basic patterns that are good for the new knitter
regardless of age.
