Class Calendar

Most classes list materials and suggested skills.  Materials should be purchased prior to the start time of the class, unless otherwise noted.  If you aren’t sure what to bring, call us.

To register, please visit the shop or call 301-652-8688.  Full payment or credit card number is required to reserve a space in the class or classes of your choice.  NO REFUNDS will be made for cancellations within one week of class.  

If you have questions regarding any of the classes that we offer or would like to suggest a new class, please call us  (301-652-8688) or stop by.

Baby Things

Carol M has been busy!  She’s recently finished four baby sweaters, putting her unique stamp on each one.         Carol completed two sweaters for her beautiful twin granddaughters from the Devan pattern fromKnitty Spring 2004.  She used Fortissima Socka and Zitron Trekking.  The pattern is very simple and achieves a lovely fair-isle look with a self-patterning sock yarn.  The little bit of color in the center back is so sweet! Finished in Season!

Of course we love it when our customers come in and purchase yarn, and we love to see the progress they’ve made when they bring in their WIPs, but the best thing is when they let us see their finished projects. Susie A. let us get a picture of her beautiful new Myrtle Pullover.  She made it out of Ripple, a lovely textured pure cotton from Tahki that knits up to 4.5 stitches per inch.  It has an interesting texture that makes plain stockinette into something fabulous.     S...
